Bodojo is a site created and made possible by the unfailing ministrations of the extremely dedicated and talented Paul Marshall and a team of moderators.  The site offers a veritable cornucopia of information on all aspects of bodhráns.  Be it information on playing styles, technique, upcoming events, skin care, sound engineering, tipper design; Bodojo.com is the best bodhrán-centric site there is.  The site offers honest opinions, intensely technical data, fantastic tutorials, and an extensive literary, audio, and video library without any shameless commercial plugging.  The sites members include famous bodhrán makers and players who bring a wealth of useful knowledge the site.  Bodojo is a fantastic resource for everyone, from the earliest of beginners to grandmaster bodhránners.  Thanks very much to Paul and everyone who make Bodojo possible!

slipjig.org

Slipjig.org is a site created and run by a terrifically gifted musician named Michael Simpson located in Atlanta, Georgia.  Michael plays a number of instruments with great skill (guitar, flute, fiddle, bodhrán, and many more!) and has recently released an album titled “Other Forms of Magic” a solo, instrumental album.  Though each of the thirteen tracks features multiple instruments, using modern recording techniques Michael has been able to turn himself into an extremely well-composed band.  The tracks span the full spectrum of Irish music, from beautifully wistful airs to rousing jigs and reels fit to make even an Englishman dance a jig. Congratulations to Michael on his album and the highest commendation to his prowess and dedication as a musician and friend.

The Olde Blind Dog Pub

The Olde Blind Dog is a pub located in Milton, Georgia (just a few miles due north of Atlanta) and hosts an open Irish music session on Wednesday evenings.
